Hope Materializing Purple Cloth

~~Brenda Cameron  -
I have been weaving for 30 years with a parallel career helping people as a nurse and counselor. I thrive on the fabric and textures of life along with the rich colors of our world.

Through my fiber art , I am expressing my feelings about the divine interplay of lives and emotions using richly textured fibers and vividly colored yarns, embellished with findings from around the globe.

Whether we are weaving a cloth or a community, connections are made. When we are connected there is strength, hope, joy, tolerance and diversity I identify myself as a spiritual peacemaker and take very seriously my role in helping the world to be a better place. Love is our common denominator. The World Cloth symbolizes this interplay and path of oneness.

Brenda incorporates weaving, dyeing, fabric painting, surface design, spinning, sewing, felting, embellishment and design as well as teaching these skills whenever possible. She specializes in fiber art for the home, especially custom designed wall art. Her business, Unbeweavables, www.unbeweavables.com is located in Colorado Springs. Brenda travels throughout the Southwest to market her creations at juried art fairs and fine art/craft galleries.
