Weaving Reconciliation Green Cloth

I live in Rose Valley, PA and am a wife and mother of three young adults. I am a weaver of fibers, songs and souls. I am drawn to fibers to express my arts, because of color. I love holding the colors in my hand and manipulating the colored fibers with eyes, hands and heart.
I’m drawn to the Thread Project, because I believe weaving comforts and heals. I’m also excited to be weaving together Open Connections—a homeschool resource center, and Pendle Hill—a Quaker retreat and study center, the two different communities where I am visiting artist, teacher and spiritual nurturer.
It will be through the experience of connectedness of our lives, as with our threads, that will bring us all to know we are one, and to a place of Peace. |
