| Spinning and weaving are as much a part of my life as breathing. I started out as a spinner about 20 years ago. When I got tired of people asking me So what's your yarn going to be when it grows up? and not having an answer, I learned to weave. I am blessed to now work in the shop, The Lamb's Wool, where I took my first weaving lesson. I teach spinning and help with the weaving classes. I love being able to pass these skills along to people who are just as passionate about fibers and yarn as I am. I am also studying at Arcadia University to become a Clinical Counselor with an emphasis on Art Therapy. I hope one day to use spinning and weaving as tools to help people become more of who they were always meant to be. |
